Blood Biomarkers for Real-Time Decision Making

Understand loading, recovery and adaption through individualized, rapid result biomarkers and laboratory gold standards for personalised actionable insight

Fewer Surprises. Better Calls. Faster Return-To-Play.

Trends produced from biomarker data flag physiological status which guide daily training load to enhance athlete management.

More Player Availability

Measuring acute inflammation and oxidative stress can identify periods of physiological overload and insufficient recovery.

Smarter Load Decisions

Adjust training based on objective responses, not guesswork.

Faster Return-to-Play

Track readiness trends to stage progressions with confidence.

Our platform turns data into action

Markers of players physiological load can be used to provide information for personalized recovery plans, insights for medical staff to assess readiness and coaches to manage availability.

Smarter Decisions

Objective data shows how load, stress, and recovery impact each athlete, reducing injury and illness risk.

Individualized Insights

Athletes’ and player data are individualized and graphically visualized, leading to more precise flagging and decision making.

Player Protection

From daily readiness to long-term wellness, biomarkers highlight issues early and support peak performance.

You're cleared for high-intensity training.

Seamless Data Access

Results are securely hosted, easy to track over time, and organised into meaningful clusters for faster action.

Two powerful approaches. One platform.

One dashboard provides information on Point of Care testing for daily readiness, alongside lab analysis for baseline assessment review.

Point Of Care Testing

Agility: Quick, frequent, actionable insights.
Non-invasive capillary draw (e.g. ear lobe or finger) ~5mins.
Allows for a high frequency of data collection.
Tracks the athlete response to training, games, travel, and psychological
stress.
Supports individual loading, recovery prescriptions and illness monitoring.
Leverages individualised dynamic biomarker thresholds for greater confidence in decisions.
Player availability is protected by reducing time lost from illness and injury.
Limited to 3 markers of highly robust indicators of physiological state.

Venous Testing

Depth: Comprehensive, in-depth biomarker reporting
An extensive panel of biomarkers displays nutritional deficiencies and surpluses as well as insights into physiological state.
Tracks long-term health trends.
Early identification of irregularities can be flagged to protect health and performance
Supports high-performance teams in optimizing readiness and recovery.
Invasive and more expensive.
Less practical for frequent monitoring.

FAQs

Find answers to your most pressing questions about our biomarker solutions.

Is it invasive?

Capillary sampling (e.g. a finger or ear lobe) is minimally invasive allowing for quick sample collection. Most
athletes and players are comfortable with the approach.

How long does the Point of Care testing take?

As it is a capillary sample, processed on table top analyzers, the demand on the athlete is less than 60 seconds and results will be finalised in ~5mins.

What is the suggested testing frequency?

Sampling frequency can vary based on the sports science and medicine teams training and game protocols. Best practice involves testing players post-match (e.g., game day +2) and post micro-cycle. Testing can be as frequently as required.

What is the difference between a Point of Care blood test compared to an
intravenous blood test?

Point of Care testing is a simple capillary draw, allowing for regular blood sample collections across competition and training cycles.

What thresholds do you apply to the data?

Our system generates individualised dynamic critical difference thresholds which
allow practitioners to see meaningful changes in the data. This customization ensures relevant insights for each athlete's unique profile. This informs decision-making for support staff.
