Recovery Lab

The world’s most advanced decision-support system for athlete recovery.

How Recovery Lab Works

Centralize Your Data

Seamlessly integrate key recovery inputs from various sources – including biomarker tests, GPS data, performance testing, wellness surveys, and wearable tech – into one unified platform. This provides a holistic understanding of individual athlete status.

Analyze Your Data

Leverage advanced statistical methods and intuitive data visualization tools to unlock powerful insights from your centralized data. Identify trends, patterns, and individual needs to make informed decisions about recovery strategies.

Action Your Data

Translate data-driven insights into personalized recovery strategies. Facilitate seamless coordination and communication within your multidisciplinary team to implement timely and effective recovery solutions tailored to each athlete's unique requirements.

Monitor key inputs across your squad

Recovery Lab empowers practitioners in the dynamic world of elite sports to make optimal decisions for player recovery.

Biomarkers

Biomarker results from Point of Care (POC) testing provide a current snapshot of a player's internal load. Redox and inflammation markers can be tracked longitudinally and quickly cross-referenced against game and training schedules. This enables your team to identify patterns individual to each athlete to protect player health and optimise recovery strategies.

Workload

GPS capture extensive external load data from both training and competition. Recovery Lab automatically reviews chosen metrics such as Total Distance, Accelerations and Decelerations for easier data interpretation. Custom ranges can be applied for personalised strategies and reviewing the effectiveness of interventions.

Neuromuscular Function

Performance data from neural and musculoskeletal testing offers another important layer of information context to your testing battery. For example, selected ForceDecks, ForceFrame or NordBord variables can be summarized and graphed with individualized normative thresholds. With Recovery Lab, your team can quickly evaluate neuromuscular function alongside other accumulated performance data for interdisciplinary analysis and follow-up interventions where neccessary.

Laptop screen displaying wellness and autonomic nervous system graphs with metrics for games, stress, fatigue, muscle soreness, and sleep over six months.

Wellness

Self-reported player data is an important consideration in identifying meaningful changes in an athlete’s physiological state. Regular feedback can be logged through our @athlete app, covering topics such as Muscle Soreness, Stress, Fatigue, Sleep Quality and more. These questionnaires can also be customized to fit the needs of your squad and organization.

Sleep

Sleep is a vital factor in assessing context and informing tactical interventions around athlete recovery and readiness. Recovery Lab integrates sleep metrics from wearable devices such as Oura Ring to provide a detailed breakdown of sleep quality and quantity. Longitudinal assessment integrated with other performance measures can generate powerful insights to further support recovery.

Autonomic Nervous System

Average resting heart rate and heart rate variability are important markers of an athlete’s adaptation and readiness to perform. Recovery Lab captures these metrics from wearable devices like Oura Ring to provide further valuable context for evaluating player recovery and defining personalized interventions.
